electric problems

Unhappy electric problems

i have a 85 se and for some reason i am getting no power to the whole car. i checked the battery and with a test light it lights up to say there electricity, i can hear my relays from my lights but they dont go on, i took the test light to the starter and i my test light lights up. i turn the ignition and nothing at all none of my fuses can be checked no power going to any of them. i checked my link fuses n the engine bay and they light up but still nothing .. i hope someone can give me a idea..

I had a similar problem a while back and it turned out to be a bad ground. Check BOTH ends of your negative battery cable.

now i have to take off front pulley to find out where the keyway is at to set the timing

DO NOT do that!!, Search, there are easier ways to find tdc and you stand a good chance of crushing your torrington bearings.
