electric fan question

i know i know this topic has been covered over and over but i am confused.

i recently put a e fan on my 12a 85 rx7, the fan came from a 97 pontiac grand prix...what i want to know is...

1.) what is the amp draw of this fan? how could i find out?

2.) is the amp draw consuming more HP then the stock clutch fan did?

3.) also i know there is a formula i just cant find it, to figure out HP consumption per amp or somethign like that

thanks

efans r alot cheaper from a salvage jard. what's the car being used for that the effects of amp draw on hp is even a concern? probably no more than all accessories on at once. and if u use a thermoswitch it wont be on all the time no way.

google search results:

Easy, find out what size fuse that fan had originally. Your amp draw will be less than that.

They are usually around 20. No, your E-Fan wont take up more HP than the clutch fan. Especially if you have a decent alternator.

another ? for yall!
im using this exact wiring in my car but with a 30 amp relay

now say i wanted to use some sort of timer to leave the fan running for about a minute or two after i shut the car off, first what kind of timers are out there that would work for this? were would i get one? and were in the circuit would it go? i was juts looking on summit, a turbo timer would work but thats wayyy to much money to spend on a cooling fan lol, ive seen accesoriry timers on cop cars for the radios, were do you get those? anyone know?

thanks again
