Question Effect of a removed rats nest in winter....?

Is there any draw backs to having the rats nest gone, and winter driving? I am talking up to and around -40 C..... I am hoping not.....

I don't see any ill effects from rats nest removal when dealing with cold weather.

Nope, mine was gone before last winter, and I only had a slight flooding problem (happened twice when it was about -35).....but then I figured out that my block heater wasnt working, so I cant see there being anything wrong with losing the rats nest .
