ECU for 12AT

Well I am looking for a standalone for my 12At. I am torn between megasquirt, or a haltech e6x. Any thoughts?

Also mallory 6 or MSD ignition?

Show me the light!

ECU: MegaSquirt is cheaper and has a lot of advanced features, but it's very DIY-oriented. Better know what you're doing or be willing to learn. Haltech would probably be easier to set up, and there are more people with experience tuning them, so you won't be on your own as much.

Ignition: Mallory.

I have personally tuned the Haltech E6X and I can say that is the setup. One thing that I love about the Haltech is you can run whatever injectors you want. The ecu will detect the impedence and account for it automatically. I have never delt with MegaSquirt, but I have seen some high HP setups with it. If your deciding factor is cost, then MS is the cheaper, no doubt. But you can pick up a nice used Haltech for $600 or less.

Platinum Sport 1000 and, if you plan on running less than 25 psi of boost, good inductive coils.
