Nope, says it was on a 13B; don't believe it can bolt to the 12A (unless modified)

There are injector ports on the center housing.. Most likely a mismatch of parts.. but it is a 4 port 13B most likely.

It's weird, 'cause that alternator looks like an externally regulated unit found in the '79 and down RX's.

Its a mismatch of parts..

The engine is a 4 port for sure. So it can't be a 6 port motor.

It has a center housing with injector ports. So it can't be an older 13B.

It has too be a newer 13B with older parts bolted on to make it fit in a older body.

I had a S5 TII engine in my GSL-SE using a 1st gen front cover & oil pan.. I was also useing a 13B-REW upper intake manifold.. There are alot of parts you can swap between engines.

check out rotaryshack.com for turbo carb setup parts.

$2k plus for a turbo setup, and then some probably IMO to do it right.

as far as adaptability for that specific ebay setup, IDK, the drawthrough setup might bolt right onto a 12A intake manifold, might not, im sure someone else can answer that though.

The only good reason to buy this is for the manifolds, which would be useless to you. The rayjay turbo and the wastegate are nothing special.

That is most likely a GSL-SE 13B with 12A end plates to make it a 4 port 13B. That would make sense. Either that or its 12A turbo end and intermediate housings with GSL-SE rotor housings and internals. Either way you get the point.

The old Arkay turbo system was designed and built by Kas Kastner. Everything was cast. The kit in stock form produced 202 BHP at 7000 rpm at 7 psi in a drawthrough configuration without intercooling. He made them for 12A and 13B engines so I'm not sure which engine that power figure was from. From the boost level and power output I'm inclined to say that was the boosted 13B power figure for the day.
