e-brake

is it just my car, or when you pull your e-brake it doesnt do much? and if it does, its just the drivers side rear that locks up... if im lucky. its OK for 180s, but i would perfer it locks up so i can use it a little for drifting/getting around tight corners quickly.

They're more like parking brakes. Mine would be of no use in an actual emergency.

exactly.. one time i tried to rely on it because my brakes fadded at 80mph. foot all the way on the brake... nothing, e-brake.. not quick enough so i had to throw in into 3rd gear, its did the most. i just wish it would lock up. my friends with civics and celicas lock really nice. it would be perfect if i could get mine to lock up like that. im not so worried about an actual emergancy as getting it sideways. plus, when your going fast and lock the rear tires, the rear end starts to go sideways.

Ever so often, u have to take the rear wheels off and adjust the rear brakes. Not to mention the adjuster at the e-brake lever.
