Pacesetter headers? Why? You get the same horsepower increase by adding water to your fuel.

There's only one brand you need to know about here...

Well two actaully.

Mindtrain which is very rare to see, but is good if you have emissions because a cat can bolt up to their header.

And the almighty Racing Beat.

Mucho pricy, but well worth.

Pacesetter is utter crap. Some of the guys here have said the welds are trash and the bolt holes don't line up properly.

first of all, welcome.

second of all, are you asking about mufflers or just tips???

thirdly, listen to Pele ... melt that Pacesetter-atrocity down and forge a model of your car out of it ... it'll help you more then.

fourth, if you were asking about mufflers, then the only choice you mentioned that makes me cringe is the FlowMaster. i had a Walker/Dynomax (aluminized, 2.5") on one of my past Rx-7s and it survived about 5 years of hard use - meaning it didn't melt, get blown apart or fail. it was still working when i scrapped the car. Magnaflow, i've never used for myself, but one of my favorite cars on this board (Kramer - you can search) uses 1 or 2 of them, i can't remember.

Ok first off, cut out the pacesetter, only pace you will be setting is last!
Get the Racingbeat one you will be glad you did!

Second, in my opinion Dynomax and Flowmaster, are better suited for trucks and such.

Go with the Magnaflow, and for gosh sakes dont get a cheap wannabe ricer tip!

Here is your best bet, A magnaflow #14815 with a dual tip outlet with a 2.5 inch inlet!

Cool

This is what I put on mine and I love it. No presilencer, just hollowed out cats to the magnaflow(model 12615).
I put the tip and the front flange on and welded the hanger from my old muffler to the new one once it was positioned and then painted the body/welds with 1400 degree paint. They have alot of other types you can use too. Even the dual tip.

I'm running 3" turbo back with a dynomax bullet presilencer and a magneflow muffler. It's the best sounding rotary I've ever heard. Period!!!The Racing beat is a waste of money get the magnaflow aluminized!!! It's cheap and does an amazing job!
