The thing about the injectors is as stock they were 550cc, they may have been modified in the past. When the previous owner sold me the car he said something about 1000cc... i'll noot know til i do a test, and that aint gonna be soon.

pengarufoo, it was a long day - get over yourself, ill let you know what Rank say about it... You miss the point.

got a pic of the a/f graph? your lines are real jumpy, looks like you have either lean spots or something up with ignition. i dunno, either way, hit up some more mods, we're puttin down over 170rwhp on n/a 6ports here!

Nice power there Basically the microtech digi series 1 pro isnt one of the most configurable units. Doesn't give you the fine tuning i would like. Ignition is from electric dizzy - no ecu, so harder to tune..

We smoothed out the AF ratio as much as possible, at a safe level, so I'm happy with that heh. Could lean it out a bit more I suppose - we'll see ;-)

The jap import 6port in my '79 had the thumbnail sized ports in the centreplate and made around 97 or 98rwKW under a 48ida with about 37 or 38mm chokes, and mixtures that made the microtech & turbo guys jealous.
Later made 112rwKW with 42mm chokes but this was on a Dyno Dynamics machine in "shoot out mode".
It since lunched a seal.

Indeed, the red circle is a chunk of apex seal, gouged into where the trailing plug hole should be.

I'll try and get some scans up to show mixtures the carby achieved. I spent my day trying to run in its replacement, a 6port bridgeport.... I did 450km and my clothes smell like fuel....

Ouch.. I have that fuel smell problem lol. Shouldn't open the windows whilst warming the car up, should keep them closed when come to a halt, and give about 1 minute for the fumes to clear after shutting her down. Only takes 20 minutes and you cant get the smell away heh, although imo its not such a bad smell haha!

I'm seriously considering buying a cat very soon.
