Replacement Axles ordered today, more waiting.
Building up the 13b -se weber engine, might just install while I got the car down.

************UPDATE****************
Got the "2nd" set of Moser Axles on Friday, pressed on bearings and installed on Saturday, on the road today!
Got a little high pitched whine sound at high speed, could just be that the rearend/diff sat for years and just takes some time to settle in to being used. Won't matter once I put the KAAZ 1.5 Miata LSD in anyway.
The -SE offset with my Epsilon wheels is moving me towards 215/50/15 tires instead of the current 225/50/15 size. I like stretched look and it will help the clearance on my flares. I'll post some before and after pic's of the offset for comparison tomorrow.

This is a bit offtopic, but what rear-end are you running that will fit a Miata diff? Maybe that's a stupid question, but I was just wondering!

It isn't the complete diff, just the internals (LSD), the Kaaz 1.5 model DBZ1810 will fit into the RX-7 diff carrier, this LSD is for the -SE model axle size only, not the smaller, GSL, GS early year axles/rearend.
The GSL-SE rearend is the only option to use the KAAZ lsd.

Lets break it down...
79-82 small axles small pinion flange
83 small axles big pinion flange
84-85 big axles and pinion flange
This has nothing to do with model. all models are the same.
all 79-85 used the 7" ring gear.

Cool

Ok, so I finnaly got my new tires, decided to go from 225/205/15 to a 215/50/15 after going with the GSL-SE offset on the new axles.
I needed the little bit of clearance for my flares so my tires don't eat fiberglass on a hard drift.
Pics, before and after.
1st 2 are before and the last 3 are after.

I like the stretched tire look....
