DTM bodykit?!
Please scrool down to the red 1st gen. with the huge wing on it.
Can anyone give me details on this bodykit like Price? where to find it? Anything? This is exactly what I need to complete my project. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The car is Swedish, I believe there are a few of them... I've seen pics of different colors and/or different wings and details... or it's just the same car in different stages. There's also a video of it around here too.

LOL! I agree that there are hideous aspects to the overall design, however, if I could find the full body kit, it would allow me to mask the plans I have the the first gen suspension.
I'm under the impression that it is, in fact, a Swedish kit.
If I do a "save as" on the pic, it comes up titled, "besiktning". It looks like it may be Swedish (it's not German). Anyone know what it means?

The car is a custom built tubeframe chassis, owned and driven by Swedish guy Mikael Mohlin.
Hopefully he will come to the big Special Saloon Car event here in Denmark in August.
Impressive car, beats the snot out of 6-700hp corvettes on the track

*EDIT* site down for maintainence

love the braaaap
I saw a short vid clip of this car some time back. The thing is crazy fast, but IMO it looks awful. Hides every good line the RX-7 has besides the hoodline.

Ugly or not, that car performs and everything on it is functional.
And more importantly, its all UTILIZED when the car is screaming around the track!!!......you gotta give'm that.
Oh,and the tri-turbo 20B......yea,looks cool and probably makes obscene HP,but really...why?Why so much work and plumbing fab when you can just do a really slick BB single or twin setup?

If I remember correctly there's more than just one of those red ones (the other is green/blue/white), there's a vid on streetfire, a compilation, with both the red one and the multi-colored.
anyway, IMO it looks good not something I'd own unless give to me but still nice.

Ya, I've seen several vids of this car in action. It is ugly too, but you have to remember that it is not made to be pretty. I did some reading a while back, and they said that they built this car just to see if they could do it (beat the snot out of the vettes, etc.) I think it was up for sale at that time too.
Like my Uncle said when the police dept. started handing out the new Glock sidearms..."It's like an ugly woman that cooks REALLY good"!

That red car is hideous. But I bet a drive in it would be amazing.
