Dropping a 2nd gen 13b into an SE?

If the 12a is going to be more difficult to throw in than a 2nd gen 13b then I think I can pick a good one up for like $200. I think its from an 86 or 87. Would the engine pretty much be the same with the difference being in the computer?

the engine mounts are diff, you will need to change the front cover.
the intake is diff, you will need to see what to want to modify on that.
the exhaust will bolt up fine.

my idea, use the whole 2nd gen intake, then adapt the GSL-SE flow meter to fit the 2nd gen tube.
just leave the 2nd set of injectors dormit.
not sure how the sensors will connect/work

yup, you can use the whole thing, ECU and the wiring.
4 injectors, a bit more power
If you do the swap, take pix!!
I just could'nt rember off hand if this was a temp thing until you rebuilt the GSL-SE motor.

well I'll just pick up the car and swap the engine. Then I'll start saving and when I have the money I'll decide weather to rebuild the se engine or if I run into a better deal on say a 13bt I'll roll with that. You know how things go. I just want to get it running good again asap.
