Driveshaft

Hey guys,
So super quick just figured id ask,
My U-Joints went on my driveshaft. The car is a 1984 GSL-SE (13B)
Now I swapped the driveshaft out of my parts car, which is an 83 GS (12A) and although they look identical down to the stamps, the size, the nuts and botls etc. The one off the 83 feels lighter.
Am I crazy?
Should it be an issue holding up to the 13B's slight power difference?
Can it be a more permanent fix, or should I be using it as a temp, and having another shaft built?
Cheers!

As long as it's the exact same length, no problem. If it's a bit shorter, you could get a gear oil leak if too much of the yoke is exposed.
