Driver's Side Wiring Harness Removal on an '84 GS
Hey All,
As part of my winter plotting and scheming about what I'm going to do to the car for spring, I'm gutting some essentials from Eric's parts car to refurb for mine in the spring. Among these are the wiring harnesses which I believe could use a forkload of trimming and re-taping.
The passenger's side harness snapped out without a problem. The problem came with the more complex driver's side wiring harness. It doesn't appear to have a clip. Is there a way to get this wiring loom out that I'm just missing? Has anybody else removed it before? I want to re-wire the whole bay and it'd be easier if I could just re-build the harness off of Eric's car and slap it on mine when it comes out of winter storage.
I'll add pics later but unfortunately I can't take any really detailed pics of that area since the car is very far away and unaccessible right now. Though I s'pose I could snap some of Eric's empty engine bay next time I'm there.
