REVHEADs right, its a powerslide if you just whip out the tail,
in a drift the car will have to slide well before entering the turn and well after. THe more slide and style the better the drift.

some people think this is a fast way to take a corner. Grip is way faster through a corner, drift is all about style and exibition.

It depends on the corner, the car, and the driver. There are many factors. Drift is not always just for show. Most of the videos you see are for show though.

Most corners that rally cars take are with the grip technique on tarmac surfaces, but nothing beats the ol' emergency brake slide on a 90 degree turn!!!!

sgrab the hand brake, qucik steering turn way before turn. Release brake befor turn, dump clutch and get on gaz while drifting just before the apex. Counter steering et voila!

always have the front wheels pointed the way u wanna go and never lock them up when youer in the middle of a drift or u will loose control and flail
