Ok just got an estimate today, 1800 bucks to rebuild my engine. Does anyone have any better suggestions on this issue.

Drive up to LA. I have a 84 GSL that you can buy. Its has a street port 6port built by Rotary Power in Gardena. It has a 48 dellorto, full RB exhaust, coil overs/adj tokicos, mint-to-good interior, MSD 6A to FC leading coil. Negative about this car...exterior is british racing green but from the hood to the bumper (except the fenders) are primered.
