Double alternator pulley
Hi, I need a double altenator pulley for my 84 GSLSE, but the same diameter as the original one. Seesms the racing ones are a different diameter and may not charge in heavy stop-go traffic. Also what is the diameter of the alternator shaft on a stock alternator for that car?
Thanks,
Mike

i bought my pulley at mazdatrix.
it works really well. charges the battery much better than the stock pulley.(i think it is slightly bigger than stock)
also, it stops the squeaking noises comming from the belt at high rpms.
the only problem w/ this pulley is that you would have to buy a smaller belt for the front (or the back i cant remeber) because the water pump ( the one at the bottom) is slightly smaller.
hope this helps.

Also buy the belts at the same time so that they are the same size.
I usually measure them just to make sure.
If you get lucky they are from the same batch.
Goodyear Belts are alittle more expensive, but they last alot longer and don't stretch as much with time.
