Post a wtb in the 1st gen parts for sale section. I would help if you specified what you are looking for in regards to right/left, power/manual and color. All of our psychic friends forum members are in jail.

I'm trying to con my wife into making me new door pannels... The 78(79)'s drivers' side is in less than perfect condition.

Would anyone else have an interest in "custom" door pannels for cheap?

lol, my thoughts exactly. I have an 83 GSL out back with a red interior, power windows. Don't know if that is what you need unless you post what you are looking for specifically

Wow. 13 Beef, I am curious as to what the thickness is on that carbon fiber panel? That's the look I want. I already have the carbon fiber (red/black) to match my car. I've done some small samples that looked great, too. I basically laid out some carbon fiber on a piece of plexiglass and wetted it out using West epoxy. The epoxy doesn't stick to the plexiglass and produces a gloss finish. I've found that I can trim / cut it fairly easily, before it sets up completely.

I've also been working on some mold-forms for a 3-D panel-design, but have yet to get some PVA mold release to actually try them out. I still have alot of finish-sanding to do on them, too. Hopefully, they'll turn out good.

Very close on the consoles, still haven't been able to find a non warped gearstick surround though.

On a side note I am considering shipping my bonnet moulds to the U.S. This may well work out better for me and for you guys. If all goes ahead will be able to do C/F hoods for around $450USD

if anyone's interested in some C/F door trims PM me or whatever.

... Ghetto-welfare velveta custom!

Eh, the construction of the door panels are super-duper easy since they are 2d, custom would be limited to which sort of trim peices, type and sort of covering, any flocking or quilting... etc...
