door panel removal
Need to take door panel off to get window back on track. Do i need to take the plastic rectangles off the the interior pull handle to get at some bolts or something? I tried to pry one out but it just didn't seem right. Stopped to search, couldn't find, so am asking. Pardon ignorance.
Found this, seems to confirm I have to pry those out. Sure don't look like they've ever been touched before, find that hard to believe.

I have never removed the door before but I am positive that you have to remove some plastic clips. You have to remove these clips with a special tool, if you don't you are taking a chance on breaking them.
The link if for the tool.

There a are a couple of screws in the door pull, pop out the rubber covers and remove the bolts. You'll have tontake the plastic cup off of the door handle too, there is another screw in the plastic cup that sits in the door pull, after that it just pops off. Start at the bottom and give it a few taps upward to free it from the top of the door.
You won't need that tool either, it's for flat plastic clips. The ones in our doors are metal and clipped to the inside of the door card.

Yes, those plastic caps expose 4 bolts that are removed with a screwdriver. Remove caps carefully with a knife edge to prevent damage. You will also need to remove the very small screw and the plastic cup at the door latch. If you have manual windows, remove the plastic cap and unscrew the handle. Use a plastic putty knife or screwdriver slipped under the panel to start popping the attachments at the bottom of the door and work your way around trying not to scratch the paint (good luck with this since attachments tend to tear out of the backer panel). After all attachments are loose, lift door panel straight upward to unhook the two top connections.
If you have original equipment it might be time to replace your window channel, inner and outer window seals, and check to make sure the two plastic grommets that attach the bottom of the window to the regulator are not broke. New parts are available if needed. There is a lot of information on this forum pertaining to the window related repairs and adjustments. Good luck.

Yes, as RLM55 said, after removing the door handle, window crank and door cup, be careful of the spring clips that attach the door card to the door frame. 12 or so run along the bottom and both ends and they tend to pull through the flimsy card pannel. A putty knife or screwdirver will enable you to reach in closer the the actual clip to pop it out. Pretty simple really.

Thanks, got it. Just had to man up and pop out the screw covers. Marred them slightly of course. Object of exercise was to reset glass in channel. It will fall out again. Might have to address that, as so many others seem to have done.
