At least the guy knows what he's selling... A collectable pile of crap. Kinda like a pet rock.

"The hood, while fairly free of corrosion, appears to have been run over by a monster truck."

"The first few dozen of these overheating, pig-handling, self-immolating rustbuckets came with Vignale-built bodies of such staggeringly poor quality that the ENGLISH wouldn't accept them, which is saying quite a mouthful."

haha this is great

"I can only chalk this up to a liberal coating of Limey lubricants having leaked from the sump and gearbox."

The Brits call oil leaks "self-replenishing rust-preventative."

Ehh, Carl, as far as I know, the Mad Max ones were Ford Interceptors (Aussie ones), not Jensen.
The British Jensen is a very cool car, and pretty rare. Jensen had a lot of problems over the years, but a good restored car would be worth a few times what our Sevens are worth.
This must be the most honest ebay auction I ever saw though!

thats a bargain at that price. Doesn't look like its too far gone either

The Mad Max interceptor was a Ford Falcon XB with lots of additional fibreglass van bodykit parts and other misc scrap

Yep, Mike has it all perfect there!
I know, the Jensen is a bargain at that price. But it's in the USA... so no, I'm not gonna buy it and have it shipped

Funniest auction I've read since the Prozac Barbie. Brutal honesty works, and the buyer will NEVER be able to say they didn't know what they were getting!

Holy crap, thats awesome. Ironically, thats one of the most well-done auto auctions I've ever seen (good grammar, just the right number of pics, etc...).

"...the inner front fenders and box sections have taken a similar stroll across the periodic table..."

Best line in the whole thing!
