Yeah it's so much different going from any car to a Rotary powered car. I can't stand the Piston cars anymore. I can't believe I won't be driving my car b/c of project "Money Drain" for couple of months

Man you guys are hurting me! State of Ohio says I can't drive. (They REALLY don't like catching people driving without insurance!)

All I can do right now is sit in the driver's seat and wiggle the steering wheel and make brap brap noises

BTW - Anybody wanna buy an MSD? Proceeds go to the "get me my driver's license reinstated" fund

Thats what Kentucky ought to do, all they do is put a fine on you and say you cant drive until you get insurance, so basically its just an insurance discount if you get caught... Kentucky sucks, man if you hit someone no big deal, you wont have to pay for it anyways I speak from experience here, I have been hit by peeps w/o insurance, never seen a dime!

I've got an MSD 6AL to sell. I need to do a brake job on my MG Midget, which by the way is rotary powered! So I don't need my MSD anymore. I also figured out what the problem was in my REPU and why the MSD's relay wasn't fully turning off when it was in it. It's because my ignition switch is faulty. Well, I took the engine out of my REPU and put it in my MG so I could fix all the little probs on my truck and not worry about the down-time.

So who wants a hardly used mint condition MSD to help get Project Rotary Midget on the road? It's just missing some electrical connectors that I used to install it in my REPU. All the screws and rubber standoffs are still there. It even still has the box with all the stickers, instructions, etc that it came with.

This should probably go in the for sale section. It'll be going on eBay if no one wants it. Rotor13B, PM me if interested.

Yeah this little car is fun to me too. And having 13's makes things on the back roads very interesting to say the least. Who is it that has the 88? A friend of mine has an 88 convertible too and we swear his and my 83 are the same quickness wise as the convert mod adds so much weight.

That's what Ohio does, sort of. First offense is $125 or $250 fine (forget which), mandatory driver's license and vehicle registration suspension for 90 days, and for five years afterwards you have to carry a special high risk insurance ($10/6 months which is chicken feed compared to the rest of the bill). They track that special insurance (called an SR-22) and if at any time your insurance lapses in that 5 year probationary period, your driver's license and car registration are suspended until you get your insurance reinstated.

So all I need in insurance money, and then I can look for a job and get my *** off the Forum all day

how much? well i don't want to deal with shipping or anything. A box with a bunch of wires coming out of it, and a couple tall cylinders with wires attached, might look too suspicious if it went through an X-ray machine Plus I prefer to deal with cash, and I'd like to install the unit myself...
