does the acv connect into the intake?
does the acv connect into the intake?
I guess just a question, I am currently not running a cat and the air pump is off, the acv is just sitting there (will remove later), but do i have to cap this off until i do? will this let unfiltered air into the intake? or would it be fine as is? If I do need to cap it off, what can I cap it off to?
Thanks,
Alvin

As long as the air pump is still in place, with all the hoses hooked up, there should be no air going thru the ACV. With the pump removed, you should cap the hose fitting on the ACV, or remove it and use a block off kit. It can allow some air to be pulled into the intake, thru the #1 Anti-afterburn valve, during decceleration.
well my air pump is off, so I guess I'll need to try to cap that off ASAP. Thanks! is there anything I can do temporarly to prevent the antiafterburn valve from opening?
Thanks again!

Capping the fitting will disable the AAV. It's part of the ACV and intake manifold. Air is diverted from the cat, to the AAV on deccel. This helps to fully burn the A/F mixture in the front rotor, and ultimately goes on to the cat.
