do you think its a good good idea to install a "oil temp" gauge in our cars

how many of you out there has one in there cars...i think its a great idea to have one!!!! i wonder where is the best place to get one at???? hmmmm

Sure it's a good idea. The more instrumentation you have in your car, the better you can monitor your engine with greater detail.

I have:
"A" Pillar:
Boost Pressure
Fuel Pressure (electrical)

On steering column behind Steering wheel:
J&S Safegaurd display with rich/lean indicator
Autometer "mini" shift lite.

Where Clock used to be:
Autometer Rich/Lean indicator

Custom panel under the stereo:
Oil Pressure (electrical)
EGT
Water Temp (electrical)

On Glove compartment:
DIY Wideband O2.

YES! had one in my street-ported '81 GSL
Ive had my Autometer gauges sitting around for 3 years and now I have Manntis` tri-gauge stereo console I'm putting them in my '84 SE.
what brand is up to you.. got mine at www.summitracing.com

Sure, I'll be adding oil temp and pressure in the next month or so, to go with my boost, volts and water temp gauges.

They look perty!
