Do NGK Plugs come pre-gapped?

Do the NGK BR8EQ-14 plugs come pre-gapped? If not what is the recommended gap for a 12A with stock carb?

Yes, most plugs are pre-gapped. I haven't used a gap tool in about 20 years (I don't even know where the old thing is). The NGKs are gapped about .050, which is good for electronic systems on FBs, but my 74REPU is an old points system, which can't drive that big gap, so I need plugs gapped about .030, which are harder to get.

Those NGKs have 4 fixed electrodes (the Autolite 2626s are even more fixed, consisting of a solid annular ring around the central electrode).

NGK does make some single electrode plugs which can be gapped, but beware of plug electrodes hanging down in the swept area where an apex seal could be clipped and destroyed!
