simple question...may sound dumb but do you need to wire your ballast resistor or ingnitor box up while doing a DLIDFIS set-up?

 

Your '84 doesn't have a ballast resistor. What is an ignitor box, if you don't mind me asking?

 

i know i dont have a ballast resistor but i was reading the haynes manual and it says that i have an ignitor box instead of a balast resistor.. no clue what it looks like or what it even done...i guess i should of asked what it is before this queastion haha but i guess its not that important if you dont even know what it is haha that

 

I believe ur were in the wrong section. thats for pre-81 cars

 

probably.. i was wondering why i couldnt find it, sometimes i just confuse the hell outta myself with this whole ignition stuff...its not that hard to figure out, i just come up with things and make it a whole lot more complicated then it should be:S

ya, i have read that but it doesnt say anything about the supposid ignitor box... maybe i was just looking at the wrong part in the manual.. i will chek it out tomorow
