Dlidfis leading plugs weak spark

I've got a strange new problem: I rewired my ignition for direct fire leading and it kind of works... sometimes.🙈

My leading spark seams to be really weak. If I try to set my timing up most of the time my timing gun isn't even able to pick up a signal and starting the engine is really difficult. I tried nearly everything now, changed the coils for other OEM coils and for blaster coils but nothing works.
The thing I did notice is if I let the spark go through the distributor the spark is like it should but as soon as I let it go directly to the plugs the timing gun won't recognize it anymore and if I watch it with a plug outside the engine it's not sparking or so weak that you barely see it.

I guess the air gap normally in the distributor causes a high resistance which in turn raises the voltage and the spark output gets higher but what should I do now?

I would look first at your connection from the leading pickup. U can't use the ignighter if u are using msd 6a. That whole 6a box not really worth it.
