I got an electronic dizzy from an 83 or something .... anyways.. i am trying to swicth out my points system... does it just swap in? what do i do with the 2 ignitors on the outside of the dizzy how do i hook those up?

yah i am a retard... i found a faq on it at mazspeed.com... looks simple enough but i need to work on it at home and not here at work... lol... just in case i mess something up... the only question is the faq says you need new coils because the stock ones only run on 9v is that true? where is jeff20b when i need him?

 

Yeah, I think the 79 coils were different from the S2 and S3 coils. PM Anex570 as he just did this swap on his (I actually sent him the dizzy to do it )

 

Get some '81-'85 coils.

Also get plugs that go with the 81-85. They give a better spark than the 3 prong 79 plugs.
