distributor and msd help needed on my sa22!!

I am putting my distributor from a 82 on my 80 rx7 12a motor. I am putting two msd 6a boxes in there too. I need to find out how to wire up some things. I looked on the mazspeed site and it said to take out the resistors on the shocktower and connect the wires together. I dont have any resistors there. I know its probably cause my car is from japan, but now im stumped. Anybody know anyone who can help me in san diego?

Try looking up Bert at Bert's MotorWerks on Island Street near downtown. You can check out his ITS FC while youre there too.

the resistors and stuff he is talking about on the mazspeed site are part of the 79 points system.

ditto. the 79 points system uses ballist resistors to step down the voltage and not fry the points out. you don't need to worry about any of that as yours is the electric dizzy stock.
