Distributor again??

Once again its a 79' with weber carb. 12a. I dont want to have any vacuum advance does the 81-85 have this or is it totally electronic.=========Thanks Guys!

The 81-85s have vacuum advance also, but you can just disconnect it and let the centrifugal advance do its thing. Im sure the 79-80 styles would be like that as well...

I've got a '79 dizzy and it's got mechanical advance.

Yeah, just get an FB dizzy if you've got a header exhaust. Otherwise, ditch the thermal reactor first. They're meant to run rich with minimal ignition so the 'fire' will stay 'lit' inside the reactor. Then again, you've got a Weber, so you probably already have a header. Go for it!
