Differences in GSL-SE

Was there any differences between the 84 and 85 GSL-SEs?

There was a small update in the Air Intake.
A Snorkel was added in 85
The 85 has a better 5th gear for highway cruising.

Contrary to popular belief (mine originally included)

All SE's have 720cc capable injectors, they just run a lower pressure than necesary, - and put out 680cc.

I think there was one other small thing that was updated reference the PCV valve or something, but I can't remember.

Basically, they are Identical to the naked eye.

OK,thanks. By "better" 5th, do you mean higher gearing for gas milage purposes, or better acceleration wise?

If it's better for highway cruising, then my bet is that it's taller, not better for acceleration.

I believe that the last batch of 85 SEs has color matched rearview mirrors.

The 85 GSL-SE and all 85 had a better gas cover handle... it was not cut off... the differential... I heard from the 85 is a 4.08 over the 4.079...
