difference between 2nd and 3rd generation engines

difference between 2nd and 3rd generation engines
Is there a difference between the 13b turbo from the 2nd generation RX7's and the 3rd generation. in regards to things like bolt pattern to the tranny. This is concerning my engine swap from a 12A in my 85 to a 13B turbo.

There is a guy there that retrofitted a 3rd Gen engine into his GSL-SE. Your primary problem with be your 1st Gen tranny to hold up to all that power from what he told me.
