Diff. Question (towing)

Hi all first gen. lovers
Just bought an SA. Still have my FC but its for sale now.
My question is: The car is sitting on a lift with no diff. in it. Is it safe to push it onto a flatbed ?, im thinking that it might screw up something as the axles arent fixed to the diff.

Thanks in advance

Kim
