DHLA48 Question..3rd and final

3rd and final DHLA 48 question....I hope.
Stripped my carb down last night and I'm soaking everything in carb cleaner.

While taking it all apart I notice a couple of parts were missing and I want to know how important they are? Using the Dellorto exploded view chart from their website, it's parts #50 (pump jet weight) and #51 (pump jet ball bearing).
Neither pump jet weight was included and only one ball bearing was present (both cap screws were sealed tightly).

How important are these pieces? And what do they do?

Thanks

Pat

I think the weight was left out by RB but I think the puimp jet ball is required.

We talked about it before in this thread:

and earlier here:

The weights are not there. I don't know if rb takes them out or it is unique to the 48. I have had about 6 to 8 of them and none had pump weights. Every other Dellorto has had them. As far as the ball take the one you have and take it to a bearing house and have them order you a few of them it is just a common ball bearing. They get lost a lot. Along with the washers under the mixture screws.

The Racing Beat DHLA did not use the weights. I've never used the weights. The check ***** are required.
