Detailing the Engine Bay (pics) Suggestions?

www.swimhurricanes.com/rxpage.htm

Ok, We're building the Turbo Exhaust manifold today and hopefully will have that in, In the mean time, I've started taking little things off and out of the engine bay and started painting them.

I've decided to go with a Black / Red Engine Bay compartment.

What do you think? Any Suggestions?

Thanks

IMHO, red and black does not match the color of the car...i'd pick another combination...nice engine though keep the updates coming!

I agree with bizarro....black and red and your car being blue. I would do blue on black. Very nice engine...

Well, you guys were right, I went and got some Metalic Blue and started painting the Bay area Blue where I've painted Red and it looks awesome, The bad news is the Wife went to the beach for the weekend and took the Digital Camera so no pics for you guys until after the weekend.

Thanks for the comments, I plan on keeping it that same color now because of the posts

Nice! I like the little fitting on the oil filler cap and the trailing running through the leading part of the dizzy cap.

Neaten the wires and hoses more. If you can rebundle it with something that follows the color theme. Have everything routed along roughly the same path.

How'd you get the rubber portion of the air intake to be "back in black"?

I've tried a few different things, and it still ends up a combination of colours...mostly of a grey variety
