Defrost door stuck?

I have been hard at work with the 85 GSL every spare chance I have before it goes to bodyshop and in its time just sitting for the last year waiting for paint, the defrost no longer functions.

Every button on the logicon illuminates, and every button EXCEPT the defrost button yields a movement from the actuator behind the clock.

I pulled the dash completely apart and replaced the logicon with a known good one, and the problem persists. No defrost ventilation.

I assume that the door is seized. But which door is it? Try as I might, i couldnt seem to locate the mechanism that directs the air up to the dash.

Any info (and especially pictures) would be great.

You could check the motor that actuates the door to see if all the prongs are still soldered on, like in this thread..

The buttons on mine illuminated as well, but there was no movement. I manually set mine to defrost last winter until it warmed up enough to fix. The door is not visible from under the dash, but the arm from the motor in the thread above attaches to a rod that works the door open/closed.
