a death in the family (bye bye 79 rx7?)

My friend just fix the brakes on his car. He was all happy. He did a nice burn out he told me.. real nasty he said. theres not much to say. I didn;t take pics. i'll get some tomorrow. He was crossing a intersection with the green light on his side. Apprently the other person is color blind. He failed to see a Red light and a Red 1979 RX7. I guess its true what they say, most accidents happen with'in 5 miles of their home. He was about a block away from parking his car for the night. He got hit on the passenger side. It was sort'of T boned. Just to the right of the rear wheel well. I can tell by the look of the outside the frame had to be bent. The door if for sure gone. The pillar that leads to the roof is hell bent. I can not wait to get picks so that you guys can let me know if it can be fixed. I got a parts car. He should be happy with that.

I have a friend that's color blind, he only knows the light it red if he doesn't see the "bottom one lit". Kinda scary riding with him where they don't have traditional lights.

I have a '79 that I'm going to part... not sure if it would be any help.

How do they justify giving people a license who cant see a red light......surely they can print the word stop into the light lense or something to save lives, it could have been a minivan full of kids.

Sorry about the 7, hope everyone was OK.

We are going to try to patch it up by removing the area thats smashed and welding a replacement section. At the moment he is waiting for the insurance company. He told me he was coasting to a stop, doing less than 10 mph. He must have been shaken up real bad. I still haven't gotten any pics.. I am being lazy. My father is up from PR visiting, hes a deisel machnic he told me hits like that hardly ever get fixed right.

I just found out that the area where the accident accourd is less than 15 ft from his house!
