I think thats my next option. Timming: All my book says is to put the pulley on TDC then line up the talleys on the dizzy and drop it in. That's what I've done and nuttin still. I think the timming might be off, but I've got no way to check it without a second person. this is getting nuts... When I was cranking it tonight with my foot to the floor it was giving little explosions in the exhaust. tiny little back fires so i retarded it and absolutely nothing. it jus spins. it doesn't even hickup like it's trying to start.

Adrian, are you clamping your fuel line when you take the plugs out and blowing out the chambers? Also how long are you turning it when you blow them out?
If it's really flooded, leave the plugs out for a abit to let the gas evaporate, also make sure the plugs are dry when you put them back in.....but you know all that.
Just trying to help buddy.

Well I know that. So were pretty sure that after the rebuild compression is just too low to start it flooded like it is. So it's got to be pull started. I need to find someone that will tow me to the top of my hill then it should start on the way down... FAWK!!!

Well I'm done and I want it gone I have to get a car by friday. I'll sell it for $2500 to anyone that wants it. It ran for about a half an hour today. Ideling at 3000 it was running fine then it started overheating. It was steaming out of the oil filler neck. I know I got some water in the oil. so I figured it would evaporate it some, but not like it's doing. I'm done and I need a car or I'm out of a job? And I have no moeny so someone just take the car away. $2500 It won't start on it's own it has to be pull started. I'm done ******* with it. someone please but it.

How long, caust i ran it for about 20 minutes after about 15 miniutes the temp just sky rocketed. There was some water in the oil and it was steaming out the filler neck like a tea pot. Will it do that with water in the oil? Also there was a sizzleing sound comming from the turbo, but I couldn't figure out where. And it was smoking like a motha, but I couldn' see from where.
who did the rebuild? they should be shot because it sounds like they f**ked up on the rebuild man!
smoking and steaming out the oil filler?! not good at all
the temp should not be skyrocketing either... another bad sign...

you said alot of smoke.. now some smoke by the turbo, thats not as bad, you might be burning the excess oil from the inside of the motor ..
keep running the car, see if it starts improving,(smoke starts going away) but dont let it overheat, ok?

aiight, but what if the temp doesn't go down. I think I should just change the oil cause it was raining like a mother and a bunch of water got into the oil, do you think that could be the problem?

while the car is running, spray the radiator with the garden hose to keep it from overheating
