I belive you could do it, but without a jig saw, or splicing connectors and it looking like ****, it wouldnt be possible

 

Mike is right - The answer is No. However, if you want to update the look of your interior, You CAN (with a lot of work) update the interior to the 84/85 American Spec Interiors,



Or Go all out custom

 

i like my 79 interior more then the newer 1st gen interiors. just need to find a good black 79-80 dashboard................

How much do you think that custom job costs? I wouldn't do that blue but a redo of the grey might be nice.

 

i wouldnt worry about the width but more the length "the distance between you can the windshield"

in a 1st gen theres like 4"
in a 2nd gen theres like 12"

point is that you would have to put the seats way back
and even then you would be bangin your knucles on the dash every time you shift gears

 

do yourself a favor, if you want an fc dash, buy and drive and fc. nuff said

 

The grey GSL-SE interior should fit into any FB, as long as you take the whole substructure and not just the skin
