Dash Cover for '84-'85?

I'm picking up an FB this week, and it has a sizable crack in the dash. I was on Mazdatrix, and I saw they sell dash covers for '79-83....

http://www.mazdatrix.com/in-dash.htm

Rather than replace the entire dash, I'd rather just put a cover on it. Does anyone make one for the '84-'85 Dash?

What kind did you get. at the bottom it says contoured molded replacement. Did you get one of those, that's more of what I'm looking for. If so, how much?

Also check out

They sell the molded plastic cover, that glues onto the dash, and looks original.

hehe, no biggie, the dash is about least on the priority list. I have to put an engine in this car first.

Weird. I have NEVER, EVER Seen an 84/85 Dash with a crack in it.

Now, 83 and older...Plenty.

My car has been a florida car for the last 12 years. (I've had it 10)

I don't have any dash cracks, although I do have one small spot that has lost its ability to shine

Hmmm, yes, seems you do.

I dunno, I didn't really look at it much, it may not be bad at all, we'll see.

Wish me luck, I'm towing my RX-7 to my house tomorrow.

1985 GSL-SE, along with a 15k mile j-spec block to replace the nonrunning one that's in it.

I'll officially have a reason to be a member of this board. Since November, i really haven't I guess, just hanging around, being the friendly troll.

Welcome to the club, just don't do what I did and start cursing up a storm because she doesn't run perfect at first, it may take a few pints of blood, sweat and tears, but trust me, she'll be worth it. 1st gens. are one of the pureist sport cars ever made. Save what you can of the old motor, if you can, rebuild it later, cant hurt to have a back up, I had 3... don't ask, but I was never worried about blowing one up V.I.A whatever the reason.
