Angry Dang! Not fixed after all...help!

Well, replaced the passenger side light and signal lights that were all corroded. I was SURE that was the problem.
Nope! Still, right signal stays on solid w/headlights on. headlights off, left signal normal, right signal flashes ALL rear lights, as well as the right ones up front. The thing is, this problem went away for a few days. I've checked & cleaned every ground I can find, reseated connectors under the hood, etc.
Anyone got any brain storms? BTW I PROMISE to verify results before I make a thread in the future!
I forgot to add:
Lights off, signal left: signal light works, side light is dark. Signal right, all ok, side & signal light flash together.
Lights on, all side lights on normally, obviously bulbs are ok, I replaced them anyway.
Ideas???

It may sound stupid, but check your ground wires! I just finished fighting with this after several months of the SAME problem... ended up being ground for side marker was corroded....(and after I've torn half of the wiring harness out.....DAMN!!!)

Hope this helps!

Sounds logical. Just exactly where was this ground located? I've cleaned several already.
Thanks!

Well, here's how I've been tracing this problem down. I unplugged all the rear and front lights to see if the short was there. Turn on light switch, right signal indicator stays lit solid (same problem). This tell me that the problem is likely in the combo switch. What do y'all think? I hate to pay that much for one if I'm not certain (and I'm not). This is alot to ask...anyone got one for an 85 laying around you could send me to try? I'll pay you for the thing.
