Damn Secondaries
YES I HAVE SEARCHED SO FU search police.
I've done everything short of going mechanical.
Dosen't appear to be any vac leaks.
Shaft is not siezed.
When engine is loaded(via in garge burnout with breaks) they are much easier to open by hand.
I really wanted to keep this car all stock, I usally weld the linkages.
The gasket for the "secondary actuator thing" looks very good as well. Just can't figure it out.
Any advice?
thanks
Joe

I bought this car a couple months ago and the guy said the carb was rebuilt, it's pretty clean and the bowl windows are perfectly clear. Wonder if they did something wrong.
I'll double check everything again, but it all looks good.
Where can I get just a diaphram?

No, I just swapped blocks in this car and put it all back together, purred like a kitten, but I knew there was a problem as soon as I pulled it out of the shop.
I have another carb that the secondaries work really strange on. They just kick in all the sudden really strong, like from closed to open, but delayed to 4-4.5k.
