damaged old school wheel,need HELP
I done did ruined one of my beautiful old school mesh wheels on a curb. They're 3pc polished aluminum, 20 bolts in the center, 15x7. Finding an original replacement wheel or outer barrel is impossible as far as I can tell. Surely there were similarities in manufacturing techniques/dimensions and whatnot back in the day, how do I find a replacement lip(outer barrel) that will fix my wheel? They are the PERFECT offset for my SE(+21), it took me years and years to find them(thanks pjr), and I can't just scrap the whole damn set because there are no parts for one. I haven't been able to drive it for weeks, factories no longer fit(lowered, coilovers, camber plates) PLEASE does anyone know of options/solutions?
You should be able to find a local shop that can repair it similar to this place in Socal that I've used:
South Bay Wheel Pros ** Rim Repair & Refinishing
1529-B West Rosecrans Avenue, Gardena, CA 90249
(310) 720-0288

Thanks for the replies. I submitted to the repairmyrim place, I'll see what they say.
Ultimately I would LOVE to buy a new/used outer lip/barrel...Where the heck do I get one and how do I determine if it will fit my wheel? If I could find replacements or affordable custom made ones, I'd prolly get 4 or five and be done with and feeling more secure... If the dimensions where right, I'd be fine with buying one I'd have to machine the 20 bolt holes in myself, too.
No wheel shops around here anywhere, one in state is wheelcollision.com and after I sent them pics, they say it's too badly damaged. ccwheel say nothing they could do. kodiakracing wouldn't even respond, not did rotiform.

You could try contacting BBS and see if they can help with barrels. I would think a good shop would have access or connections for barrels as well...probably west coast shops though.
