Cut Bump Stops for Lowering Springs?

Has anyone heard of cutting the bump stops to half height to accomodate lowering springs?

I scored some Eibachs and Tokico Blues from a guy on the forum. (BTW, Sudox_E is a good seller.) The front struts had bump stops on them. One was cut to half height and the other was whole. The seller said he thought he meant to cut both to half height when he installed them, but apparently forgot to cut one. He said he thought he did this based on some advise from the forum - if you have lowering springs cut the bump stops in half. He was not 100% sure. Can anyone confirm this?

The idea is to keep from bottoming out against the bump stops. If you think your springs will compress far enough to bottom out, then they should be trimmed.

I did not cut mine when I installed the RB springs, and didn't have any issues... But if you have one that is already cut, then you might as well do the other as well.
