you need to get the poly holley floats(center pivots) plug up your power valves (they will pop under boost)but dont forget you have to jet the carb 8-10 times richer when you plug up the power valves, make the secondaries mechanical(vacum operated wont work with boost), make sure your carb has rubber gaskets(the paper ones blow out under boost). this is a good starting point wich wont cost you more than $40.00, i think you carb guy is squeezing you for $$$! tho carb does need to be pressurized , but this will be done when you install the carb hat. dont worry blow through systems are easy to learn about and fun/fast to drive!

p/s thanks ioTus, your car is going to fly!

I have been looking into this matter too, and found Corky Bell's Maximum Boost book very intresting. Tells you all about blow-through mods, aswell as suck through.
BTW: anybody knows some links to sites with carburated turbo 12A's? I want to look into it a bit more before actually starting...

Is it true that i can plug up my powervalves even without turbo? This one guy at the track said that it would make it accelerate faster.

I am running a 13b 4 port with mech secondaries. (using the stock Nikki) How well would it work for me to hook up a blow-through turbo system with this carb? Would you recommend using a different carb? If so, which one?
