All of the wiring should be in place, but it may not be. You will also need the servo that mounts under the hood. Download and review the wiring and components associated with the CC. There is also a control box under the driver's side storage bin.

As Trochoid stated plus you will need to change out your combo switch( one that has the headlamp/turn signal etc for one that has the cruise control functions. All should be plug in play. I did all of this on a S model many years ago. Will also need the correct brake light switch so when you step on the brakes it disengages the cruise control.

It would be located to the left of the cigarette lighter if you have one in your car.

Mine was from SEARS a while back, and had its own stalk on the column.

That is an after market item and uses totally different components.

Are you referring to the location that the switch goes in or the electrical connector?

I swapped one from a gsl into my s model.
For the button on the dash, you have remove a snap in cover, (I think it snaps in/out).
The combo switch was the right side (the wiper).

You really need to check the car out to see how much of the system you have. A full cruise system consists of:
  • Pulse generator in the tranny
  • Wiring from the tranny and under the dash, all back to the driver's side storage bin.
  • Cruise module installed at the very bottom of the leading edge of the sheetmetal for the bin.
  • Cruise wiper stalk on the steering column
  • On/off switch on the dash
  • Brake and clutch interrupt switches (my GSL-SE starts without depressing the clutch - that switch is only for Cruise)
  • All the wiring behind the dash and through the firewall to support all this stuff
  • Cruise actuator in the engine bay.
I'd check the FSM for the pinouts, and go looking for the plugs. If they exist unused in your dash, then you can put together a system by plugging in components as you come across them. If not, it'll be a lot more work. I've got a 12A cruise actuator that I'll ship you to get you started.
