Crankcase vent questions
Well I was reading through all the crankcase vent problems, cause I beleive I have one myself.
My oil fil tube is filled with that white slimy crap we know is bad, The vent on the oil fill is not blocked, but it runs no where. Is the fact that I still have a problem with this because the moisture isnt being sucked out? and where could I find the most usable vaccum line to hook the crankcase vent to?
And the biggest question of all, is my engine screwed from this ongoing problem?

I'll post up pictures on my install tomorrow if i remember, I just did this 2 days ago but I have a holley carburator, I'm not certain on the vacumm nipple that you would use for the stock, but what i basically used what the follow:
Mitsubishi PCV valve
2 feet of 5/16"clear water hose
4 small white zip ties
Basically what i did was cut the hose in half, slided the each hose end to the PCV valve, zip tied that, than from the side that is threaded to the carburator vacumm, and from the other side to the oil filler neck.after running the car for a few minutes I could see the water vapor making its way back to the carb. The first day it was pretty filled with condensation probably because it was filled, but now its only slightly misty.
