Cool CP Fender Flare and Skirt install Pics

Well I've had these CP Racing flares forever and finnally got them on(fitted) with the sideskirt. Drivers side not done yet, passenger side on for fitment.
9in Epsilons on the rear 225/50/15 with Falken rubber.
The baby is looking bad!
3pc rear valance is next after I primer it.

Not yet, the temp fitment is to mark the fender for cutting. I will take lot's of pics during that process. I'm still alittle scared about cutting my baby!

How much do they bubble out from the original fenders? How much were they? And did CP racing d-you-over?

here's how the drivers side looks without and the passenger with.
To me it's the perfect size.

I have the same wheels and tire size. I photographed cutting out my fender lips for the widebody install. If you need pics, or a step by step, let me know.

How high does the flare bolt in above the lip crease? If you could mount the flare, then scribe the outer edge of it with masking tape, I can give you an idea where to cut, based on the pics I took. How much is the rear lowered?

now let's get someone who can make and ship CF or fibreglass parts of high quality to make more of these style flares. Both CP Racing and my own Rotorhead have failed, either at quality or at reliable shipping, but there's definately a market for these flares...

...the fenders look badass

...are you putting flares up front too, or only in back?

Looks really good!

me, I'd put 'em front and rear, but for aesthetic reasons. Really wider tires on the back make sense, whereas 9" rims on the front just makes the steering more sensitive to bumps & potholes.

I'm getting some purely for aesthetics. When I have the money I'll be ordering them from A-RF Japan. If someone is willing to make a mold when I get around to ordering them (if they'll even ship them here) then maybe we can set something up

EDIT - **** it. I just went back to the books and they're $300. I forgot about that part.

Ah, but if you're extending your front control arms out an inch or two, you need to do something to keep the front wheels from crashing into the stock fenders.

The fun part is extending the tie rods, but we have ways of dealing with that, too...

all that changes steering and suspension geometry I was referring to putting wider rims onto a stock setup, with a lip to prevent rubbing. Of course, wider rims on stock suspension ain't great either since you'd have to use a non-stock offset and worry about hitting the front or rear of the arch when steering...

I really wish I got that hood from Japan. But shipping it was impossible.

Magnaflow straight through, added a tip and welded on a flange. Sounds very nice. I like it alittle on the loud but throaty side....fits my drift mentality.
