A couple of questions

What would cause oil pressure drop? My engine used to have 70 psi @ idle and now it's down to about 45-50 psi. Could the oil being too thin cause the drop in pressure? Also, where can i find out how much fuel pressure i should have to the carb?(dellorto)
Thanks

Rotor 13B just change the oil if you are so concerned. Seems like as time passes oil looses it's viscosity and the pressure drops. It used to happen to me a lot. Also if you are dropping too much gas or running extremely rich believe it or not it tends to thin the oil also. Change the oil to 20W-50 if the pressure goes up to your past press then don't worry about it too much. It's normal.

About the dellortos you can run about the same as the webers around 4 psi or so but don't take my word for it.

thanks mperformance, appreciate the response. the reason i ask is because i've never had the oil pressure drop before and it kind of concerned me. also. i'm suspect of my fuel pump is going out because it won't fire on both rotors unless the fuel regulator is set to 4.5 or better. i'm wondering if it's really seeing that much pressure, or if my pump is going south.

btw, i don't have a fuel pressure gauge to actually tell if it's indeed at the proper level, just the regulator
