Question Couple of Pickup/Ignition related questions (DLIDFIS)

First:

how do i tell which pickup is which on the harness that comes off my 1980 Dizzy. (needed to know for DLIDFIS setup) There are 2 sets of red and green wires, due to the igniters not being onboard the 1980 distributor... and i cant discern which pair is for the leading igniter

Second:

on the connector on the back of the igniter (- SG +)... you have red and green wires, which is which? (also needed for DLIDFIS configuration)

Third:

my DLIDFIS is 90% complete, i just need to wire the pickups, basically just plugging a spade connector somewhere, because it's all ready to go. And then make my custom plug wires, which would have already been done, but the wire is coming tomorrow, the connectors are already here.

i'll take pics tomorrow when it's done *knock on wood*

i think i did it VERY cleanly, and it certianly has the touch of when a old-school computer modder starts to **** with cars (allthough i've been working on cars for years)... i'm proud of it so far, i just hope it works.

i followed the instructions on Jeff20b's website.

Sounds like we're doing the same thing! Cars are so much more pleasing than computers though!

Can't wait to see the pics! I've got an 80's style dizzy too, so it should look just like your setup! So long as your setup works!

well, in that case, i hope someone can answer my question, otherwise there's no way of knowing, short of just trying one or the other until i get one that works.

i'd like to know by tomorrow, so i can finish on a relatively warm day (45f)

What're you stuck on? R/G or the "which pickup" part?
