Question Cosmos 13b in a 1st gen

I am thinking about a cosmos 13b conversion in my 1st gen. Does anyone have any comments or tips. Where can I find more information on such a conversion.

welcome to the forum .
Directfreak, isnt that what you have? If you do a search on Engine swap's you should find quite a LOT of info, but I know its been done more than a few times.

if it's a twin turbo cosmo i would suggest to convert to non sequential or convert to a single turbo for more power and reliability

SEE THIS LINK

Almost everything there applies to every generation of Rx-7, and all models.

The Cosmo is very easy to put into a 1st gen, as far as fabrication goes.

You can contact Mike-P-28 or Setzep who both currently have theirs running using Haltech E6K's, and a single turbo.

I have a Cosmo as well, but recently have changed to a blow-through operation while my Haltech gets repaired in Australia.

I must say, the blow through is a piece of cake by comparison, I should have gone that route in the first place.

Thanks for the input. Just one question...what does "FC" mean. It keeps poping up in my research. (excuse my ignorance).
