is this correct?

i heard that if u have low compression, that when u go to start ur car when its warm, it is a bitch, but when its pretty cold, its okay. is that true? cause im having a helluva time trying to start my car when its hot..

Yes, it's true that low compression will lead to harder warm/hot starts. Compression will measure lower on a hot engine than on a cold one.

overhere it's the otherway around: low compression makes a cold engine a bitch, it's getting better when hot

if you have low compression and its warm the air is allready less dense, so the low compression engine can't compres the air efficiently so its harder to start. where if you have low compression and its cold, the air is more dense and more compresable, making starting easier.
